Jared is a dedicated husband, father, and parishioner of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church.

Jared is a life-long resident of Southwest Louisville. He grew up in the Saint Andrews Park neighborhood and attended Saint Polycarp before completing his high school education at Saint Xavier.  Following high school he studied at the University of Louisville where Jared earned a Bachelor of Science degree.  His time at the University of Louisville would impact his life far beyond learning and growing as an academic.  In his senior year, Jared met his future wife and eternal love, Amanda.

Amanda is also a life-long resident of Southwest Louisville.  She grew up in the Cloverleaf neighborhood and attended Holy Cross High School before completing her degree at the University of Louisville.  Amanda serves our community as a teacher in our local public and catholic school systems.  She also teaches Religious Education on Sundays at Saint Lawrence.

Jared and Amanda have been married now for 17 years.  Like their parents before them, they chose to raise their family in Southwest Louisville, the community they know and love.  Their 16-year-old son is an outstanding young man with high passion for academics, athletics, and community support.  Their 14-year-old daughter is also highly motivated by learning and enjoys volleyball as well as the performing arts with a focus on music and theatre.

Jared worked for a local steel company for two years after graduating from the University of Louisville and is grateful for his experience with the organization.  For the last 14 years he has worked for an industry leading specialty chemical company where he currently serves in operations as the Continuous Improvement Manager for North America.  In this role Jared is accountable for leading change, improvement, and growth in all North American manufacturing operations.
